Matt created make_ in 2016, driven by a bold vision: to bring the immersive, imaginative flair of themed environments into the world of commercial architecture. A true design enthusiast, Matt’s journey started with rhythm while touring the country as a drummer before shifting his creative energy to design. This rich blend of music and architecture fuels his unique approach to design thinking.
Earning his Bachelor of Design in Architecture degree from the University of Central Florida and his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Florida, Matt pursued the vibrant world of themed environment design.
At NBCUniversal Creative, he was on the design team for some of the most iconic attractions, like The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Diagon Alley, and Volcano Bay, blending his knack for storytelling with his technical skills. As a former adjunct faculty member, he’s helped shape the next generation of designers at the University of Florida Graduate School of Architecture and the University of Central Florida College of Arts & Humanities.
When he’s not crafting unforgettable spaces at make_, Matt is a family man. He adventures with his wife and three kids, embracing life with the same curiosity and energy he brings to his craft.

Director of Operations
Andy is a seasoned architect with over 20 years of professional experience and a lifelong passion for the built environment. From Lego creations to treehouses, his fascination with design started early on. Hailing from Massachusetts, Andy draws inspiration from the birthplace of the Revolution and the pursuit of happiness that shapes our world.
After earning his Bachelor of Architecture from Florida Atlantic University in 2004, Andy began his journey at a boutique firm in Boca Raton, designing luxury homes and multi-unit residences for an international clientele. Since settling in Orlando in 2011, he's been shaping diverse projects, from hospitality to theme parks, as a dedicated project architect.
Currently serving as the Vice President & Director of Operations at Make Design Studios since 2022, Andy is a licensed architect in Florida and former president of AIA Orlando. He also lends his expertise to the City of Orlando Board of Zoning Adjustment.
Outside of work, you'll find Andy behind the lens, tending to his freshwater fish, cruising on his Harley, or enjoying quality time with his cat and five dogs. Passion drives him every day, shaping the world one design at a time.
